Truman's Business Failure Prior to Becoming President Could Be prelude to Trump Presidency

Chapter 11 and Chapter 7 business bankruptcies are often a difficult answer to a troubling financial situation. Small businesses in New Jersey and Pennsylvania are sometimes forced to file bankruptcy or go out of business. While clients sometimes indicate they feel like they failed, a number of individuals that have had their companies fail or file Chapter 11 or Chapter 7 have gone on to do great things. The New York Times,   http://www.nytimes.com/2016/04/10/business/for-harry-truman-the-buck-stopped-at-a-brush-with-bankruptcy.html?_r=0 ,in an article noted that Harry Truman and Eddie Jacobson, a fellow World War I veteran, opened a haberdashery in Kansas City, MO in the 1920s. A limited command of macroeconomics led Truman and Jacobson to a business failure in the post war bust. Presidential Candidate Donald Trump has filed for bankruptcy protection several times. Many of his supporters argue that this should not be held against him due to the success of Truman's presidency despite his business failure.
