BERTUCCI’S FILES SECOND CHAPTER 11 BANKRUPTCY, CLOSES RESTAURANTS

The Bertucci’s Brick Oven Pizza and Pasta on Nixon Drive in Mount Laurel NJ has the distinction of being the last Bertucci’s remaining open in New Jersey. It too is now closed. About half the restaurants were closed and the rest were sold. The business apparently continued to struggle and was likely not helped by Covid 19 (although some food businesses such as take out Pizza, flourished) In any event, the new owners filed another Chapter 11 in December 2022. Several stores closed around that time including one in Marlton NJ. In recent weeks only the Mount Laurel NJ location near the Home Depot was open in NJ. Now that is closed.
